Where to Print Your Pictures

We often get asked where we would recommend printing photos. So we figured we would put together a little guide of the best place!

For prints, we recommend Mpix.com. Mpix is the consumer branch of our professional lab, so we know that their quality is going to be up to par. They also have fantastic customer service and a rewards program. We know it’s always fun to just run over to the drug store and have photos printed immediately, but the color and quality of their prints is usually not very good. They also don’t have the range of finishes you can get from Mpix. Mpix offers E-Surface, Metallic, and True B&W papers, plus the ability to add a lustre coating and/or fine linen texture. They ship fast and their prints have over 60,000 5 star reviews! Plus, if you use the link above, you will get $5 off of your first order. Woohoo!

If we were to order prints from Mpix we would use E-surface or Metallic paper (depending on the finish we want). If we use E-surface we would probably put a lustre finish on the print. We would also make sure to order quite a few prints in multiple sizes so that we could get free shipping! Orders over $35 get free shipping. Yippie! Also, don’t forget to sign up for a rewards account! When you have accumulated enough points you will get money off of your next purchase, which is always fun!

If you have any questions or need any help, please let us know! We are all about having beautiful images in your home!

Below is an example of just how different each company can print your images. This includes prints from our lab, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, and Snapfish. While the images all laid out may look similar, when they are laid over each other the color difference is quite obvious!
