I remember vividly when her mom called with the news. She was afraid of what to expect when LA arrived. The doctor’s didn’t know much until she arrived and of course they always tell you to expect the worst. So we planned on doing nothing until we knew. And I told her that I would pray for the best. Pray that LA would be a spunky, perfect little girl would live a normal life like all of her friends.
And what do we have now? OMG! Spunky to say the least! She isn’t a normal little girl, but normal is boring, right? This little Heart Warrior is amazing. She is about to turn three and I am so proud to have followed her all along the way. I have seen her go from a blue little newborn in the hospital who couldn’t keep things down, to breaking out of the hospital, and now she is surpassing all odds again.
Medicine is freaking amazing! Texas Children’s saved this sweet ones life and will continue to. I know her sweet family is very grateful to them. As is everyone who meets LA.
