Photo Tips- Cooler photo locations

Let’s talk about how to beat the heat during your session this summer! We all know how hot and sticky it can be in Houston during the summer, so here are a few options for how to avoid that.

Option 1 is to head to the beach! It’s always a little cooler at the beach and with the breeze, it makes for a much more comfortable family session. Plus, if you have the time, you can make a weekend out of it and enjoy the beach with your family.

Option 2 is to go out to the pool! We’ll always start off dry and then head to the pool. It’s best if the kids are wearing regular clothes that they can wear in the pool. Parents don’t need to be submerged, they can hang out around the edge of the pool. If you don’t have a pool, we can help you find one!

Option 3 is to do a lifestyle family session inside at your home. These sessions are fun because they show your family in your home environment. Everyone can cuddle up on the couch, gather around a table to play a board game, and do something fun like decorate cupcakes. If you enjoy spending time in your backyard, we can end out there if you don’t mind a few minutes in the heat.

Option 4 is to have your session at a studio. Studios are air conditioned!! There are tons of studios around here and in Houston. We can help you pick what would work best for your family based on the look you want and how many people there are.

Give us a call to set up your summer session! We’d love to get creative with you and create a session that is perfectly your family. Hope to see you soon!
