In-home sessions during the summer

During the summer, a lot of families opt for an in-home session.

This is a great option since we live in Houston and it is basically boiling outside.

It allows for cooler temperatures and less sweating. The kids will be super excited to show off their rooms. And your husband will be pumped that he isn’t dying in the heat.

You can do some fun activities like cooking, playing in the backyard or playing games. Make it a fun summer theme. Especially if you have a pool.

I’m always surprised when families shy away from summer as a time to take family portraits.

I think it is the best time. Summer foliage is amazing and the light is amazing. Plus everyone is home.
