Boy Mom

Being a boy mom, I can totally relate to this mom.

When she called me two years ago, she was really worried that a photographer would not be able to capture her rambunctious little boy. I get that. Some people wouldn’t be able to. But I was that mom once. And I had to learn how to out smart that little boy and get what I wanted out of the session.

Now two years later, we have done 2 sessions and she has loved each and every one of them.

We have captured her wild one in all of his glory.

I try to mix in a little of mom with a little of just Mr. R. That way he gets a rest and little bit of play. And he thinks the whole session is a lot of fun.

I very much enjoy child sessions. As I get to know them – individually. And they get one on one time with the parents. I think it is very important that parents spend alone time with each child. And as you can see from Mr. R’s face. It was well worth it.
