Over the Years

You know I absolutely love my clients. They are the best!

I get some new ones each year. But most stay with me year after year. This is fabulous, for many reasons. Mostly because if they need something from the years past, I can go back in the archives and pull it up. Or I know them really well, so all of those first session jitters for both of us are gone. We are family now.

Plus, I get to see their kiddos grow up over the years. I just love watching little toddlers grow into tweens. They know how the process works and they have so much to tell me (or show me) each and every year.

Here is an example of a family that I have taken their fall family portrait for the last 5 years. You can see the boys grow and even Scout (their puppy) get bigger.

Another great thing about staying with a photographer is that your children are comfortable with this person and the process. My client’s children love getting their photographs taken. It is a fun thing to do.

I can’t wait to see this sweet family and see what amazing things they have done this year. I heard they have recently gotten an RV. How exciting!

So whomever you select to capture your annual fall family portrait, try to stay with them for awhile. It will save you a lot of headaches in the long run. And your children will appreciate it.
