The real secret to great photos is to practice and practice a lot.
I have been doing this for over 16 years professionally. And really since junior high. And you don’t even want to know how long ago that was.
This is why I can get a session done in 10 minutes if I have to. Or why I always get something out of every session I do.
Experience is key.
