These two.
They are the sweetest. They were married in 1971. And when I was taking their portraits before we added the whole family; I asked them what the secret was to a long and happy marriage.
And they said patience. Get to know your spouse and be able to anticipate what they need. And of course a little laughter along the way doesn’t hurt.
We had a fabulous time doing just that with some of the family yesterday. We were missing two. One to the flu and one is stationed in Okinawa, Japan with the Marines.
But the ones that were available had a great time. And it was the perfect weather. I can’t wait to share the gallery with them.
And here is a little Christmas sentiment for you. Let’s all find some patience and laughter this holiday season. So all of our relationships can last over 50 years.
