You are paying the photographer for their knowledge, experience, training, etc. And with that the photographer must price their work accordingly to cover all things to run their business. This is called cost of doing business.

Of course prices depend on experience, what’s included, and your location.
In the Houston TX area, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 to $1,500+ for a custom full family session that includes digital images with a print release (which means you can print your photos whenever and wherever you’d like).
So… is it worth it?
Here’s the truth: You can absolutely get decent photos for low prices.
But when you invest in a high-end photographer, you’re investing in your time and the experience.
You get your time back knowing the photographer will handle everything.
You get an experience where you feel taken care of, your kids feel seen and heard, and you walk away with images you’ll cherish for life!
